Topic:
The value of play and experimentation for designers and developers.
About Sean:
Sean Voisen is a teacher, programmer, designer and occasional philosopher who hails from San Diego, California. He has been engaged in an intimate love affair with the Flash platform for the past 11 years, but has been known to cheat on occasion with other technologies like Processing and Ruby. As an independent developer, Sean has had the good fortune to work with companies like Adobe, PayPal, Userplane/AOL, and Hallmark on projects built in AIR, Flex, Flash and Ruby on Rails. As an instructor at the Art Institute of California-San Diego, he has worked to share his hard-earned knowledge with the next generation of Flash designers and developers, and has learned a few new things along the way.

Wendi Turner is organizing a Flex Camp in Irvine. Having a Flex Camp so close to home is a great opportunity to get a full day worth of interesting talks either free or at a very low price (I am not sure what the plan for pricing will be). She is looking for volunteers to help out, so if you are interested, please contact her at: wenditurner <at> gmail <dot> com

There will be no meeting in May because we will not be in town. I'll be in Minneapolis presenting Mate, a new Flex Framework at cf.Objective() and later in the month in DC at WebManiacs. If there is interest, I can present it at the user group too.
See you in June!
